Dr Loy is an exceptional eye doctor who remembered me from my 1st visit back in 2016 of certain details about my eyes. He is a Community Care Optometrist whom I highly recommend all veterans to see him. Donna, more than the receptionist, handles his office administrative details exceptional to get the veterans' needs for Dr Loy's concerns of his patients like me. I had to come back to him for my VA Eye doctor, who wasn't able to see me for an urgent concern. I have dry eyes due to a laser light incident on a previous job many years ago. He was very concerned for my VA Eye doctor and hasn't done the proper care for it. I saw him on Nov 13th, whom Dr Loy did an extensive exam for. I let him know that for several weeks, both my eyes are irritating, even with using the regular eye drops that I used 4xs a day it felt like something was in it. My VA primary doctor was concerned about it, too. Dr Loy's test results showed that I wasn't producing tears in both of my eyes. So he prescribed eye drops and gave me a sample until I got my prescription filled, and I needed eleve to help the swelling under my eyes too. I purchased it immediately, and I will go back to my primary doctor to get me another one, too. I'm doing much better, and I have a follow-up appointment early next month. I definitely recommend Dr Loy and Donna for the outstanding exceptional care for me. Plus, I will stay with him for the lack of VA care from my Eye doctor on my sensitive dry eye issues that are a lifetime for me.
